>> all about ME <<

My photo
I am unwritten//can't read my mind//I'm undefined//I'm just beginning//the pen's in my hand//ending unplanned//Staring at the blank page//before you//Open up the dirty window//Let the sun illuminate the words that you could not find//Reaching for something in the distance//So close you can almost taste it//Release your inhibitions//Feel the rain on your skin//No one else can feel it for you//Only you can let it in//No one else//Can speak the words on your lips//Drench yourself in words unspoken//Live your life with arms wide open//Today is where your book begins//The rest is still unwritten...I break tradition//sometimes my tries//are outside the lines//We've been conditioned to not make mistakes//but I can't live that way::.

~``FuRuBa >> @last::..&&

I could've finished it when it was finished, but I had to wait till a random time like yesterday to read those last chapters....
. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

8 years and 4 months. and I was with it for at least half that time, I think. pretty crazy, ne? I could almost say something cheezy like "it was a tender companion throughout my early teenage years."

anyway...some random thoughts on the concluding chapters:

-〉结局很圆满。pretty much all the characters were covered, and it really ends the huge series with a sense of "finally..!"
when she finally couldn't bring herself to smile that practiced smile.
pretty extreme too...KYO's father yells "I'm never going to forgive you" for the 100th time.

. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

random thoughts on the entire series could take me days, so I won't make it an immediate endeavor right now...

>>OBAMA<< ~ Inaugural Addess::..

--Jan. 20, 2009--
~a day that our generation will not forget.

(I regret having to always go back to things that happened a month ago...x__x)

I'd copy & paste the whole thing here, but it'd totally make the page load 10x slower...so here's the website instead :D

Alright, so I know that he didn't write one word of it, but I still can't help but respect the person who spoke these words.
..:: especially these-->> "This is the meaning of our liberty and our creed -- why men and women and children of every race and every faith can join in celebration across this magnificent mall, and why a man whose father less than 60 years ago might not have been served at a local restaurant can now stand before you to take a most sacred oath."

And yes, I think I understand why some sitting in the audience would be moved to tears.

Tri-Prov '09, Dunk-Comp, && >>

not a whole lot to say about Tri-Prov......basically made sad attempts at each of the Tech duties and ended up piling them one by one on Janice x_x >>>> webpage was definitely an epic fail...eventually resorted to Geoff having to bribe Yuri with concession admission -___-;; only to find out that there was absolutely nothing more to it than copy-paste, edit, and upload. . . . . what a serious disappointment. <.<

the new invention, Dunk Comp, was quite the success. Actually, though, the main discussion here is Jordan Baker. 6'4", all-star on both senior vball and bball (and therefore numerous media appearances), leadership student....and, according to my recent discovery, candidate for the 95% Scholastic Distinction scholarship from the U of A.
>>>>>>>>>>> talk about achievement...>>>>>>>> and then look at me.
When it comes to achievement, though, Aaron (and Heidt) is right--nobody's gonna beat Charles Lim. 3-year 100% IB average, excellent leadership participation (including, I think, some time in the SC), numerous community contributions (including soccer-coaching!), and fifth in national badminton championships.
>>>>>>>>>>> now that really makes me feel bad.

hah. back to Tri-Prov.........

the tourney itself... for some reason ended up sitting at concession 24/7 with the few volunteers who actually showed, while the actual finance peeps watched the games -___- definitely more than got my share of free food....which, as usual, does not turn out all that well.
I suppose there was a reason for my lingering around conc...but that is strictly private information---undisclosable even to myself.

{h.o.t.e.l. - R.W.A.N.D.A}

-> the movie of a lifetime <-
[watched in History class]

.:.:: the haunting sadness of the intricately-portrayed mass-killing-of-the-century will renew its impact on me again and again...

UC - San Francisco

UCSF = the only hope I have for a future away from Edmonton [as of today] -- and so the destination is established, and that's that.

♫ --little boxes--

I believe this was from an English class of about 2 months ago, but it's really stuck (more than other things, anyway). I think you'll know why::..

-> the best version by Linkin Park (only first 2 verses)

-> the website (with other versions. Click on Season 3)

-> the lyrics:

1. Little boxes on the hillside,
Little boxes made of ticky-tacky,
Little boxes, little boxes,
Little boxes, all the same.
There's a green one and a pink one
And a blue one and a yellow one
And they're all made out of ticky-tacky
And they all look just the same.

2. And the people in the houses
All go to the university,
And they all get put in boxes,
Little boxes, all the same.
And there's doctors and there's lawyers
And business executives,
And they're all made out of ticky-tacky
And they all look just the same.

3. And they all play on the golf-course,
And drink their Martini dry,
And they all have pretty children,
And the children go to school.
And the children go to summer camp
And then to the university,
And they all get put in boxes
And they all come out the same.

4. And the boys go into business,
And marry, and raise a family,
And they all get put in boxes,
Little boxes, all the same.
There's a green one and a pink one
And a blue one and a yellow one
And they're all made out of ticky-tacky
And they all look just the same.

.happiness.//?

01/13 Veeda said something totally unexpected..."I know what's important--being happy~!"
And...it really struck me. Cause I really do not know if I'm happy or not anymore......I'm not sure I ever had a standard of measurement for happiness, and I honestly cannot say what was the happiest moment of my life if someone were to ask...but it just seems like I'm living life too fast to really enjoy it, and there seems to be much more busy planning and preparing for the future than there is actually enjoying today....
The concept just seems so...muddy..and I guess I've just gotten the wake up call.

well at least one thing made me happy this week~~ finding out that I got 93% on the History 5 exam!

MY E-DIARY

It's amazing how much a person can be inspired by a friend...There's just about only one person who can successfully convince me to do something I've always meant to do without saying anything. Thank you.

There isn't too much to say about why I created this blog, since it's all been said: blub-land.blogspot.com
However, I think I would be much less inclined to add multimedia to my blog...it would mainly be boring old text.

And, without out much further ado, I hope this will be the first of many, many posts.
